Operationeel Manager - fulltime
If you are looking for variety in your work, look no further! In the position of Operations Manager no day is the same and you combine desk work with working on the floor, inside with outside and strategy with execution. We are looking for an Operations Manager, who likes to make our guests and colleagues happy and wants to continue building this beautiful family business with us.
What are you doing?
- Your commitment, presence and input ensures a well-functioning organization, where guests enjoy coming and colleagues enjoy working.
- You are involved in operational processes in front of and behind the scenes of the departments Reception, Housekeeping, Hospitality, Skik, Recreation, Supermarket and Swimming Pool.
- You cooperate with and manage the team leaders and/or directly supervise the employees of the relevant departments, some of which are (strongly) seasonal. The number of colleagues within these departments as well as their composition strongly depends on the season, varying between 10 and 30 employees.
- Where external parties are involved, you are responsible for the proper management and coordination. Throughout the year you alternate your activities between the office and the work floor.
- You are aware of work processes in order to be able to intervene, adjust and improve at all times.
- You are also the one with the well-known helicopter view, with which you make sure that everything is running smoothly, and you fulfill the role of duty manager.
- You will act as a sparring partner for the management, think along with strategic processes, implement and monitor the agreed policy within the organization.
Who are you?
- You are someone who likes to take initiative, work and think in solutions and have the ability to get others on board.
- You 'see the work ahead' and like to roll up your sleeves.
- You switch effortlessly from the work floor to the office (and back!). The variety in activities and the flexibility that comes with it give you energy.
- You have the insight to be where you are needed most at that moment, for both guest and colleague.
- Working weekends, evenings, holidays and vacations, as well as on-call shifts, are no problem for you.
- It goes without saying that you are there when it happens in order to act as the first point of contact.
- Hospitality and service-oriented work are right up your alley.
- You are in possession of a (car) driving license and live within 15 minutes by car from the park or are willing to relocate.
