Park Rules
General park regulations
These park regulations apply to all guests; there are additional regulations for our annual and seasonal guests.
Opening hours
For opening hours of reception and other facilities, please refer to the Witterzomertijd and/or the app. Here you will also find the recreational opportunities we offer.
Rest
From 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. absolute silence is mandatory. Before 9:00 a.m. and after 9:00 p.m., unnecessary noise should be avoided. Conspiracy after 11 p.m. is not permitted. Radios, TV and musical instruments are for your own use. Please ensure that fellow guests are not disturbed by them.
Pets
Pets are allowed only on the camping fields Boersveld, Tippie, Berkenweide, Jagtweide, Witteres, Witterholt and Wittergoorn. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times, including at your own accommodation. It is not allowed to place fences near the accommodation or camping site where the dog can “move around freely”. It is not allowed to bring dogs outside the light green areas of the parkmap. You are required to clean up excrement and ensure that fellow guests are not inconvenienced by your pet. In case of incidents, your pet will be denied access to the park. Cats must wear an identification band.
Traffic
You are requested to follow the traffic rules as they apply at Witterzomer, namely:
- Max speed 10 km. Think of the children playing!!!
- From 22.00 to 7.30 no motorized traffic is allowed on the grounds. Also, the barriers are closed during these hours.
- Internal motorized traffic is not permitted.
- Means of transport with an (auxiliary) motor, except electric bicycles, are not permitted, This includes hoverboards, quads, mini-motors, electric scooters, etc.
- Mopeds, mopeds, scooters and motorcycles are considered additional means of transport and must be registered if driven on the premises.
- The barriers work via license plate recognition. Only registered cars have access. If the above rules are violated, access - if necessary without consultation - will be blocked for your car.
Visit
Visitors are welcome. You are responsible for registering your guests and their behavior. Visitor fees are charged for day visits from the May vacation through September. All means of transportation for guests must be parked at the reception in the long-term parking lot. Youthful visitors are admitted only after (written) permission from parents of the guest to be visited. Children/young people up to 23 years of age are not allowed to accommodation in the park during the absence of parents. If this leads to incidents or nuisance, the visitor will be refused entry.
Camping site
- Unless otherwise indicated, the pitch is to the left of the pole.
- The caravan/tent should be placed centrally on the pitch, with the door of your camping equipment facing the road side. When on a field, the opening should face the center of the field.
- Party tents with a maximum size of 3 by 3 meters are allowed. Party tents with a permanent character are not allowed. Larger sizes only on request and for an additional fee.
- If you have not reserved a pitch number, you may only select a pitch from the numbers provided by the reception. The pitch number must be given directly to the reception.
- If possible, distance between caravan/tent and neighbor's caravan/tent should be at least 5 meters.
- If others use the caravan/tent you are obliged to inform the reception.
Upon departure, the camping site must be left clean and tidy by 12:00 noon. Happy to check you out at the reception.
Swimming
- Swimming pool and beach pond are open to guests free of charge and at their own responsibility.
- Swimming bands and inflatable items are not allowed in the swimming pool for safety reasons. Of course there is an exception for aids for children without swimming certificate.
- (Young) children must be accompanied by an adult when visiting the swimming pool/beach pond.
- For the sake of safety, accommodation inside the swimming pool fence is allowed only dressed in swimwear.
- Topless swimming/sunbathing is not permitted at all swimming facilities.
- The natural pond is pure nature. No swimming or boating is allowed here - also for safety reasons.
- Fishing is only allowed in the fishpond. Not at the pond or beach pond. Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian while fishing..
Sanitary
- Hot water in the washrooms is free of charge.
- Toilet buckets to be emptied only in the chemical dumps.
- Children must be accompanied to the toilet block.
- Improper use of toilet buildings and water is not permitted.
Waste disposal
For the sake of the environment, at Witterzomer we do as much as possible to separate waste in the appropriate containers (glass, paper and household waste). All containers can be found in the environmental area near the entrance gates. The compactor is for household waste only, in closed bags. Bulky waste must be delivered to the municipal dump. The environmental street is secured by camera surveillance. If misuse is detected, you will be charged a minimum of €50.
Points of interest
- No digging is allowed on the grounds. (including no gutters around the tent).
- For fire safety reasons, (camp) fires/fire pits/bowls are not allowed.
- Barbecuing is allowed - in closed barbecue trays - provided no odor or smoke nuisance is caused.
- To preserve the natural character of Witterzomer, the use of festive lighting and decorations is not permitted.
- It is forbidden to offer merchandise on the park.
- It is not allowed to place children's pools on the camping site or near the accommodations.
- It is not allowed to charge electric cars at the camping site or at the accommodation.
- The use of sound boxes is not permitted throughout the site.
- Electric cars can be charged at the charging stations in front of the reception. Please move the car after charging so that the charging poles are free for other users.
- Trailer parking is not permitted throughout the grounds.
Liability
The guests of Witterzomer are fully liable for damages caused to property of this park, as well as rented or lost objects. The management is not liable for accidents to guests, damage, loss and theft of property of guests.

-The instructions given by staff/management must be followed immediately. In all cases not covered by the regulations, the management will decide. Management may prohibit or deny access to the premises to anyone.
